No. of Seats Available - 40 students are admitted annually.

Distribution of Seats :

  1. 15% of total seats i.e. 6 seats filled in through the Entrance Examination conducted by the CBSE on All India Basis.

  2. 15% of total seats i.e. 6 seats are reserved for Schedule Cast and 7½% i.e. 4 seats are reserved for Schedule Tribes

  3. 4 seats are filled on merit basis through DPMT Entrance Test conducted by Delhi University .


DURATION :

BDS : 5 years (including one year of Internship)

Tentative Dates of Entrance Examination : 1-15 days of May as per Delhi University Rules.

ELIGIBILITY :

Indian Nationals of 17 years of age on December 31st of the Years of admission.   

Qualification for Applying for Entrance Examination :

  • 12 years Senior Secondary Examination with at least 50% (40% minimum marks requirement for scheduled Castes/Tribes) aggregate marks in English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together or B.Sc. with any two subjects Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology) with 50% marks and Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English passed at Higher Secondary.

  • Candidates who have appeared at the qualifying examination are also eligible.

  • Candidates should be medically fit.

Admission Forms :

The form can be obtained by post from the All India Pre-Dental Entrance Examination Unit, CBSE, 17B, Indraprastha Estaste, New Delhi –110002, by remitting bank draft of Rs. 22 along with a self-addressed envelope of 12” X 10” completed application along with the examination fee of Rs.100 (Rs.25 for Scheduled Castes/Tribes) through bank-draft should reach the CBSE by registered post by the notified date.


RECRUITMENT FOR JUNIOR/SENIOR RESIDENTS

Junior Residents

  • Applications are invited through advertisements in leading national dailies.
  • Application forms are available at the administration office and also can be downloaded from the website.
  • Recruitment through written examination followed by interview.

Total number of seats for Junior residents are 22.

Senior Residents

  • Application forms are advertised in leading newspapers as per availability of vacancies or could be downloaded from the websites.
  • Recruitment through interview.

Total number of existing Senior Residents are 17:

  • 2 in Conservative Dentistry
  • 1 in Oral Surgery
  • 1 in Prosthetic Dentistry
