Who can be treated at MAIDS? |
Anybody requiring dental
treatment is welcome. At your visit you must apply
at the Registration Desk inside the main entrance
on ground floor. |

| 2. When should I seek a Dental appointment? |
|
Since
prevention is better than cure, it is advisable
to visit a Dentist every 6 months- 1 year for
a routine checkup. In addition, you must get
a Dental consultation as soon as you have symptoms
such as tooth pain or sensitivity to cold/hot
bleeding or foul smeel from the mouth or any
red/white patch etc.

How can I register myself for treatment? |
| You have
to register yourself through O.P.D. of the hospital
at ground floor. |

| 4.
Is there any registration fee? |
| No there is no registration fee as such, although there are minimal user charges. |

| 5.
Are fees charged lower
to those charged at a private dental practice? |
|
Since this is a government hospital, there is no fee as such, however, there are very miniscule user charges.
|

| 6.
What
is the warning period I should expect while taking an
appointment at this Hospital? |
|
Hospital
staff tries to accommodate all patients on the
earliest possible date, but because of huge
patient load there is generally a long queue
for elective procedures. However, all Dental
Emergency procedures are attended to immediately.

| 7.
What are your treatment hours
for new patients? |
|
General
clinic hours are from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. treatment
procedure continues till 4 p.m.
Registration timings are from 9 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. from Monday to Friday and from 9 a.m. to
11 a.m. on Saturdays.

Are there any
emergency facilities also available? |
|
Yes,
minor O.T., major O.T. are available. For the
treatment of trauma, fractures, etc. 24-hour emergency is available. |

Where can I have
my x-ray done? |
|
X-rays are done upon recommendation
of the doctor after registration at radiology
department at ground floor.

Are there any
charges for X-rays? |
| Yes there are minimal user charges. |
