MAIDS offers education in an ethical & professional environment in which quality dental care is provided to the patient. This teaching & research institute has been committed to excellence in Student Education, Research, Patient Care & Community Service. The dedicated designated roll of the college is :-

• Teaching & training of Undergraduate Dental Students, Junior Residents (Dental) & Senior Residents (Dental) in different dental specialities.
• Catering to burgeoning patient load : Due to growing awareness about oral & dental health amongst masses, there has been a marked increase in the number of patient visiting dental OPD & various dental specialty departments over the year.
• Multi speciality dental treatment to cases referred by other dental departments of Delhi & Delhi establishment of neighbouring cities in NCT region.
• Undertake service oriented research projects.

OBJECTIVES

Under the tutelage of highly trained & productive faculty, the student acquires a solid foundation in the dental science. The educational objectives are development of undergraduate students in three domains viz Cognitive, Psychomotor & Affective domains.

Cognitive Domain :

• Knowledge of basic medical science
• In depth knowledge of dental science.

Psychomotor Domain :

• Training in essential dental clinical skill.
• Training in comprehensive patient care.

Affective Domain :

• Essentials on patient communication skill.
• Comprehensive patient care.
