- been set up at a health care centre. Doctors from the Department of Community Dentistry visit the centre weekly and provide dental care to the underprivileged.
- MAIDS is also assisting Prayas, an NGO where juvenile delinquents are attended to twice a week by the doctors from MAIDS.
- Department of Community Dentistry also conducts weekly motivational health talks to the patients in the waiting areas. These are informal interactions with the patients in order to impart basic oral health related information, attending to their queries and giving dental health education.
- Dental health camps (check up &/or treatment camps) are held all throughout the year at various locations to make basic dental health care available to all.
- Pulse Polio Programme in collaboration with the Government of NCT Delhi, Dept. of Health & Family Welfare (Pulse Polio Cell) has selected doctors from MAIDS who have been given special training to lend a helping hand in this nationwide programme. On required days and time, the health team goes to various outreach areas to provide pulse polio drops to the population.
